Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to ensure efficient store operations and deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and uphold data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks according to standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
