Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate store equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Capability to work independently and within a team
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
