Store Management Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Store Management Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for leading your own store successfully. Supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies are key responsibilities of this role.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $30.00 per hour
• Estimated Year 1 Earnings: Up to $119,000*
• *Earnings may vary by location

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising daily operations and team performance to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Implementing company strategies and fostering teamwork among employees.
• Managing store signage, product quality, and customer concerns.
• Overseeing hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensuring budget and payroll goals are met.
• Monitoring competitive environment and providing feedback for product selection.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• Prior retail experience, preferably in a management role.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
