Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs efficiently and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your daily tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory procedures and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
  • Follow established policies and procedures while maintaining document security.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as per company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multi-task effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
