Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Collaboration with team members and providing top-notch customer service are key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with the store management team.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus.
