Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and uphold company procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register with accuracy.
  • Knowledge in using store equipment safely.
  • Ability to follow company policies and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to work in a team environment.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
