Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a crucial part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exemplary behavior aligning with ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older to apply.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and handle equipment responsibly.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain company standards.
• Communicate effectively and work both independently and in a team setting.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
