Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment.

Starting Wage

$16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies for the role consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly organize shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Physical Demands

• Stock and arrange merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, perform various physical tasks.
• Required movements include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and walking.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation.
• Ability to operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations regarding sales of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience desired.
