Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to ensure minimal losses
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
