Job Description

Join our team as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi! This full-time position offers up to $26.75 per hour and various schedules to accommodate your availability. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. You will collaborate with team members and warehouse leadership to improve processes and achieve operational goals. If you are detail-oriented, have good communication skills, and can work both independently and in a team environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
