1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The shift begins at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment while unloading incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, participate in inventory counts, and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement, inspect products for quality, and act independently within assigned responsibilities.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic arithmetic proficiency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets, move merchandise, and perform various physical tasks.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and work in varying temperatures.
