1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and efficient 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in receiving, relocating, sorting, and loading merchandise in our warehouse to fulfill store orders effectively and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Drive achievement of budgeted goals.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Notify management of product issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and efficiency.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 45 pounds of product.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform various physical tasks in different temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
