2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week, offering a starting wage of up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and fostering effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely to perform job functions.
• Follow company policies and procedures accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Organize and execute tasks efficiently with attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
