2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for various task such as selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts. Your role will involve working collaboratively with team members and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient operations and achieve set goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Frequently move merchandise and prepare products for deliveries.
• Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
